Welcome to The Center for Compassionate Care! Our practice is dedicated to providing a nonjudgmental open, and safe space for all humans. We are proud to work closely with local agencies that support and care for those living with HIV/AIDS as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our team shares a collaborative commitment to creating an environment that is both queer affirming and culturally humble. ABOUT THERAPY

At our therapy center, we believe in the power of self-exploration and growth through evidence-based methods. We understand that therapy is not a quick fix, but rather a healing that requires participation and investment from both the client and therapist. By making small changes to self-defeating behaviors and thoughts, our clients can better cope with feelings of sadness, fear, anger, and pain.

ABOUT THE PROCESS

The nature of the work is client lead. Which simply means that you are in the driver's seat and we are your co-pilot with a map. We also support those that are experiencing a difficult time coping with life changes, such as, a divorce, a death or loss, a new career, relationship issues, a geographical move, illness or other life circumstances that leave you feeling and acting in ways that are not reflective of your true self.

In your therapy sessions, we’ll work together to solve current problems and improve thinking and behavior. We will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. We are confident you’ll find our personalized, individual care beneficial and inspirational.
